Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using fluente.ai (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and AIORAS TECHNOLOGY LTD (Company No. 16037096), registered at 4th Floor Office, 205 Regent Street, London, England, W1B 4HB ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use fluente.ai. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account registration

Some features require an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free and paid services

fluente.ai offers free and paid subscription tiers:

  • Free (no account): 3 sample lessons per language
  • Free (signed in): 3 additional lessons per language
  • Paid plans: Unlimited access to lessons, scenarios, coaching, and additional features based on your subscription tier

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as indicated at the time of purchase. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

5. Billing and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • Your account reverts to the free tier after your paid period ends

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect active billing periods.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Platform or its content
  • Upload harmful content, malware, or spam
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicence your access to the Platform
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

7. Intellectual property

All content on fluente.ai (scenarios, images, audio, video, text, software, and branding) is owned by fluente.ai or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

8. AI-generated content

fluente.ai uses artificial intelligence to generate conversation responses, coaching feedback, and other content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. It should not be relied upon as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.).

9. Voice data

By using voice features, you consent to the processing of your voice recordings for the purpose of providing real-time feedback and improving our speech recognition technology. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how voice data is handled.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Specific learning outcomes or exam results

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, fluente.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
