  • Voice recordings: Audio from conversation practice sessions, used to provide real-time feedback and improve our speech recognition models.
  • Payment information: Processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the fluente.ai platform and services
  • Process speech for real-time pronunciation and grammar feedback
  • Track your learning progress and personalise your experience
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related communications (account confirmations, billing)
  • Analyse usage patterns to improve our product

4. Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate fluente.ai:

  • Edge infrastructure provider: Hosting, database, authentication, CDN, email, and media delivery
  • Google Cloud: Speech-to-text processing
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • PostHog: Product analytics (privacy-first, EU-hosted)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Voice data

Voice recordings from practice sessions are processed in real time to provide pronunciation and grammar feedback. Recordings may be temporarily stored for the duration of your session to generate coaching reports. We do not permanently store raw voice recordings unless you explicitly opt in to help improve our speech recognition models.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in to your account
  • Remember your language preferences
  • Analyse how you use our platform (analytics cookies)
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security

Usage analytics data is anonymised after 12 months.

fluente.ai is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at legal@aioras.ai.
